Uniblue recently sent me a copy of the latest version of Registry
Booster 2010 to review. This updated software is still the best way
to keep your registry database running smoothly. If you PC has slowed down
at all, it is most likely related to the installation and de-installation of
multiple applications. Registry
Booster 2010 will analyze your database, identify the issues, and
then fix them with the click of a button.
When you first purchase a new PC, it runs great -- real fast. But the
more you use your PC, the slower it tends to get. As Windows operating
systems and applications grow larger and more complex, they tend to generate
more errors. Usually these errors originate from your registry -- that vast
encyclopedia of settings that's supposed to keep your computer running
properly. The only problem is that as you install and uninstall drivers,
applications, screensavers, and other utilities, the registry tends to get
cluttered with old and useless settings. To solve this problem and to keep
your registry free and clean of errors, you need Uniblue's
Registry Booster.
Registry
Booster 2010 has an all-new graphical user interface which is easier
on the eyes and more intuitive than prior versions. Pictured below is the
Registry Scan screen which looks at system related errors, user related
errors and third-party related errors. It ranks the errors it identifies as
low, moderate or high. The more errors your registry has, and the more
severe the problem, the more you need Registry
Booster 2010 to solve your problems.

Like other products from Uniblue, Registry
Booster installs easily and has a very simple and intuitive user
interface. It has a vertical menu down the left side and a horizontal
tabular interface across the top. It's hard to get lost. Even if you've never
used a registry cleaning product before, this will be easy for you. Clear
instructions appear on each screen, and warnings remind you to backup your
registry before making any permanent changes to your system.
After the initial Registry Scan it displays the results of
its findings. You click on any category to drill down to the lowest level of
registry information. I can't imagine you wanting to do this, but for those
geeks out there, have at it. During my evaluation, I discovered over 1300
registry errors were present on my system! Yikes! That's definitely not good
and possibly explains some of the slow downs, freezes and peculiar system
behavior I have been experiencing.

I followed the application's recommendation and used Registry
Booster 2010 to create a backup
of the registry, and then I cleaned the registry with two button clicks
(see, I told you it was easy!).

Registry
Booster also gives you the option to defragment your registry. Think
of your registry as a deck of cards that keeps getting shuffled. If the
cards are all mixed up, your computer has a more difficult time running
smoothly. Registry
Booster defrags your registry and puts those "cards" back
in order. This keeps your system running properly.
Registry
Booster takes a very difficult and confusing manual task -- cleaning
and fine-tuning your registry -- and makes it push-button easy. How Is your
system running? Have you noticed it getting sluggish? This may be your
answer.
This latest version of Registry
Booster 2010 is both 32 and 64-bit compliant, has Windows 7 (and
Vista and XP) compatibility, and supports English, German, French, Italian
and Spanish. You can test out Registry
Booster by using the free online scan or you can purchase your own
