In the early days of PCs, one of my favorite and most useful programs was
Calendar Creator Pro. It enabled you to create a number of handy daily,
weekly, and monthly calendars. I used to print mine every Sunday night and
give a copy to my secretary so she would know where to find me when I was
traveling. As PDAs have become more popular, I think most people have turned
away from PC-based calendaring software in favor of the Calendars in their
Palm units.
I don't know how most people work, but I need a reminder about almost
everything these days. And the little alarm on my Palm does nothing more than
burn out my batteries before their time. Outlook is not a lot better. I find
its base calendaring functions pretty limiting and the printouts pretty poor
at best.
Calnique is a
breath of fresh air because it integrates wonderful graphical calendaring
features with email reminders and a bunch of other really useful tools.

Calnique enables
you to create and customize your calendar and save it as your Windows
wallpaper so it is always in view. You can personalize it with photos and
color schemes of your own choosing. With Calnique,
you can even apply animated skins which adds a neat element to the calendar.

Built-in email reminders send you email messages at times of your own
choosing -- I think this is invaluable! You'll never forget a meeting or
special event again. Stop ignoring your Outlook reminders and start reading
your Calnique
email reminders.

Calnique comes
with a bunch of other useful tools including a PassMasterT and PopStopperT to
manage your passwords and disable annoying pop-up ads. I'm not sure why they
are bundled with a calendaring program, but what the heck. Added value is
added value. To learn more, click here.
