Over the years I have reviewed many different tools that can be used to
create demos. Time and time again, I keep coming back to Demo Builder.
With it, you can
build animated demos, tours and courseware. Recently we learned of a
significant update to the tool.
Demo Builder
is now in Version 6.0. Like previous versions that enabled you to capture
on-screen activity and create fluid annotated videos, this version has several
new must-have features including the following:
Full-Motion Video Recording
Import in AVI format
Merge Multiple Scenes into One Scene
Split One Scene into Multiple Scenes
Full Editing of Custom Cursor Motion
Rectangle/Ellipse Tool
Set Object Visibility
Better Auto-Calculate Time Algorithm
Marks
Improved and Faster Screen Capturing
Export All/Save All
Save Existing Audio to Disk
|
In the past, you were constrained to using individual screen shots to build
your demo. Now Demo Builder
features full-motion recording capability. Choose your frames per second rate,
and easily capture smooth recordings of your demonstration. Now capturing drag
and drop functions, animations, and Flash websites has never been easier!
When you are done creating your screenshots or scenes, Demo Builder
displays everything in a view reminiscent
of PowerPoint's slide sorter view.

In this view you can annotate the content with textual
comments, add animation to draw circles around menus or objects, add a voice
recording or music, and much more.

As you embellish your demo, you can preview it at any time to
see how it is coming along. Changes can be made quickly on-the-fly. Demo Builder adds animated cursor and mouse movements to bring your demo to
life. You can set the screen size and resolution of the final demo, too. Demos
may be set to loop for kiosk or trade show settings, or even jump to an URL on
a web site (perfect for Intranet based training).
Demo Builder
enables you to add full user interactions
with the demo including text entry, mouse clicks, including displaying custom
success and error messages.
You can export your final demo to Flash (SWF) or executable
formats. Both look crystal clear and run beautifully. Demo Builder
is considerably cheaper than its leading competitors and much easier to use. To download a demo click
