One of the most overlooked items of importance in designing a web site is the proper
use of META tags. If you view the source code for ten web site pages at random in your
browser, I bet at least half of them will not use META tags correctly. In fact, many will
omit them entirely. That's too bad because they are giving away FREE publicity.
How? Simple: most search engines pull information from your META tags and publish this
information in their search engine database. If your site has no META tags, then the
search engine can't classify your web site, and as a result, you'll either be dropped from
the engine or show up low in their rankings.
MetaTagBlaster
is a pretty cool tool. It allows you to analyze an existing web page and pull the existing
META tag information.

Upon completion of the analysis, it displays the results and allows you to
browse and update the META tag contents.

One of MetaTagBlaster's
neater features is its ability to pull words from your web page
thereby suggesting additional keywords to be included into your final Meta Tags. It shows
you the keyword density percentages, and allows you to add or delete keywords to your META
tags. I'm not sure this works the same way as other standalone keyword density analyzers
on the market, but this is an unusual feature and well worth having.

The next step is to allow MetaTagBlaster to auto-build your HTML META tag code
for you. This is quick and easy.

With the click of another button, MetaTagBlaster will update your existing page code
and insert the new META tags into your page. Lastly, you can generate a report which will
show you the analysis of each set of tags and make recommendations for improvements.
If you are new to META tags, MetaTagBlaster makes it easy to enhance your web page
and to position them for higher rankings in the search engines. You check it out here.
