Let's face it, time seems to pass
faster and faster. Most of us are poor managers of our time, we arrive late,
forget to attend meetings, lose track of birthdays, and everything feels like
it takes longer than it should to get done. So along comes The
Daily Goal Machine to set you on the right course and to help give you
a feeling of accomplishment.
The
Daily Goal Machine uses a technique familiar to classically
trained project managers called time-boxing. It essentially means you are
creating what Dale Carnegie called "day-tight compartments" -- small
blocks of time carved into your day to accomplish very specific tasks within a
very specific time frame. This process forces you to break big tasks into
smaller, more manageable tasks. It keeps you going with forward momentum and
gives you a feeling of accomplishment as you chip away at larger projects. As
you make headway with completing smaller tasks, the overall project become
less daunting.

To get started using The
Daily Goal Machine , you add Actions to be completed and
associate a timer with it -- a duration of minutes. As you add related Actions
and Timers, they appear on the right side of the screen. You can move them to
re-order them or delete or edit them at any time. Duration for the completion
of an Action can be easily changed by dragging your mouse over the blue
timeline.

One of the neatest features is the ability to link them, so as
one Timers expires, the next Action's Timer begins, in sequential order. With The
Daily Goal Machine minimized to your Windows Task Bar, it
works silently in the background tracking your progress. When a Timer expires,
you will see a message in your Task Bar and hear an audible alarm.

Actions may be one-time events or repeatable events. You can
also create Custom Actions and Timers to suit your own lifestyle and business.
For daily repeatable schedules, you can create Timer Groups for every day of
the week. Upon completion of your events, you may also view a detailed report
to see how you spent your time, the tasks completed, the duration of each task
and even how much time you saved.

The
Daily Goal Machine is an invaluable tool for those of us
who can admit we are time-challenged. If you are tired of being called a
procrastinator and always being late with everything, it's probably time for
you to try a different approach. Using The
Daily Goal Machine you can gain a better understanding
about how long it really takes you to complete your daily tasks, and you can
develop a stronger feeling of accomplishment at the end of your day. To learn
