As an online entrepreneur I made a conscious decision to lease my own web
server from Dell, and when it came time to select a back-up device for my web
server, I picked the Buffalo Linkstation.
Over the years I have experimented with various types of back-up devices
ranging from CDs, DVDs, tape and even proprietary cartridges such as
Castlewood's ORB (a competitor to the once popular Iomega Jaz drives).
In almost all cases, each of these backup devices failed or their media
went bad, and always at the worst time.
The Buffalo
LinkStation family of devices was recommended to me by a friend. They
are reasonably priced, come with bundled back-up software, and are plug and
play easy to install. No technical degree is required.
I use the Linkstation Media 500 GB unit for my web server and I just
purchased and installed their Linkstation EZ 500 GB unit for my home office.
Now all of my family's PCs can back-up their music, videos, pictures along
with my business files in a totally automated fashion. Click here

Linkstation back-up units.
